Last week....

As I wasn't too good these last couple of weeks I will blog what we have been up to in a couple of posts :)

The weather has been on the turn once again (UK weather - especially that in Cornwall is so changeable you never know where you are up to with it - 4 seasons in one day haha)

Right now I am sat in the garden and it is very hot and the sun has most definitely got his hat on! hip hip hip hooray!!!!

So, as I said the black dog has once again been back. I decided I needed to go out and about, as did the kiddy winks, as we haven't been out barely at all recently due to the weather, football etc.

On the Saturday we went to our nearest museum, which is the Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery. This is unfortunately closing until 2020 in September. I am really sad about this as as I do not drive I can take the children easily to this museum. It is a great museum for younger children too.

We all had a great few hours out!

On the Sunday the weather cleared up enough for us to plan an outing to a National Trust place. We had always wanted to go to Killerton house and gardens, but it is a bit of a drive from our house, just over an hour. The children were up early that Sunday so we decided to take the drive. We really liked it. I enjoyed the exhibition on fashion they have there for this year, the kiddies enjoyed playing rolly pollys down the big hill, and the hubby enjoyed a little doze on the grass (he is getting old bless him).

If your're in south devon I would definitely recommend Killerton.

The eldest has always been sports mad, and we were incredibly proud when he was chosen to represent his school at the interschool sports at the baton relay.

His school came 3rd over all. He also had his football presentation evening for this season, He is a defender and hubby is one of the team coaches.

I was also busy with my papercutting. I do love this hobby.

I also had some lovely fabric and haberdashery deliveries that week, I have lots of plans for them - although some may end up in the 'too pretty to use' pile haha.

and of course my latest Jamicure. I came to a big decision, I decided that once my 3 months subscription is up I wont be renewing to stay on as a Jamberry consultant. I don't have the time to commit to it, and I'm not pushy enough to do very well at it. Still love the products though :) This is mermaid tales, its so shiny. I'm not usually one for bling, but I did love this.

And a couple of other family pics from the week:

And that was the week that was. Will update on this weeks progress, its sooo hot right now the keys are almost meting - as am I haha.
